  IAF provides close air support to the Indian Army troops on the battelfield as well as stratergic and tactical airlift capabilities.and The integrated space cell is operated by the Indian Armed Forces, the civilian Department of Space,and the Indian Space Research Organisation.




History:
It was established on 8 october 1932 as an part of British Empire and did war in world war 2 with the prefix Royal.Royal Indian Air Force was changed after 1950 to Indian Air Force.
